I need an automation that allows data from SendSpark to be entered into an existing Google Sheet, identifying the correct row and column based on the follow-up sequence. This would help in tracking when a video was viewed in relation to the follow-up messages sent.

Hi Dan, thanks for the request. To make sure we scope this correctly, can you share a bit more detail on how you want the Google Sheet updated?

1) What SendSpark event should trigger the update?

Video viewed
Video played (started)
Link clicked
Something else

2) How do you identify the correct row in the existing Sheet?

Email address
Prospect/customer ID
Name
A unique SendSpark contact or campaign identifier
Other

3) How do you want to identify the correct column based on the follow-up sequence?

Do you have one column per step (Step 1, Step 2, Step 3), or per send date, or per message template?
Is the “sequence” coming from your outreach tool (HubSpot, Apollo, Salesloft, etc.), or is it something managed inside Sendspark?

4) What should we write into the cell?

Timestamp of view
Yes/No viewed
View count
Watch percentage
Viewer location/device
A link to the video

5) Are there multiple views to handle?

Only first view should be recorded
Append latest view timestamp
Keep a running history (for example, write to a separate tab)

6) Any constraints on the Sheet?

Is it a shared team Sheet with protected ranges?
Do you need updates to happen in near real time, or is a periodic sync acceptable?

If you can paste a sample of your Sheet headers (or a screenshot with sensitive info removed) and describe one example sequence (Step 1 sent, Step 2 sent, then view happens), we can confirm the exact row/column mapping and recommend the best approach.
