Customizable Scrolling Patterns for Videos

Tim
I noticed that the scrolling pattern in your videos is always the same, which can be limiting. It would be beneficial to have the ability to customize the scrolling pattern, either by choosing from presets or creating a unique pattern. This would allow for a more personalized and seamless viewing experience, especially when showcasing multiple pages in a video.

Hi Tim, thanks for the suggestion. When you say “scrolling pattern,” do you mean the way the screen capture scrolls through a page during playback (speed, easing, pauses), or something else like the path/area being scrolled (vertical vs horizontal, specific sections, jump cuts between anchors)?
To scope this properly, could you share a bit more detail on:
1) Your main use case: what are you typically showcasing (landing pages, dashboards, docs, ecommerce collections), and how many pages/sections per video?
2) What you want to control: speed, acceleration/easing, pause points, scroll direction, step-by-step section jumps, or a fully custom timeline?
3) Presets you would expect: for example “smooth continuous,” “scroll then pause at sections,” “snap to headings,” “slow reveal,” etc.
4) Where you want to set this: per video, per scene/page, or as a workspace default?
5) How you create these today: are you recording inside Sendspark, or uploading a screen recording from another tool?
If you can also share a short example (a link to a video or a description of the ideal scroll behavior), we can better understand what “custom” should look like and what would be most valuable to prioritize.
