Delete pending contacts without removing video

I want to delete pending contacts without having to remove the associated video from my dynamic video campaign. Currently, the only option is to delete both the video and the contact, which is not ideal. It would be beneficial to have a feature that allows me to clear pending contacts while retaining the video in the campaign.

Hi David, thanks for the request. To make sure we scope this correctly, can you share a bit more about your setup and the exact workflow you want?
1) Where are these “pending contacts” coming from (CSV import, CRM sync, manual add, API, etc.)?
2) When you say “pending,” what status are they in (not sent yet, missing required fields, bounced, awaiting approval, something else)?
3) In the dynamic video campaign, is the video tied to the campaign itself, or is it generated per contact (for example, a personalized version per recipient)?
4) What outcome do you want when you clear pending contacts?
- Remove them from the campaign audience list only
- Delete the contact record entirely from your account
- Keep the contact but reset their campaign status so they can be re-added later
5) Do you need this as a bulk action (select all pending and remove), and should it be reversible (undo / restore)?
6) Are there any cases where you would want to keep some pending contacts but remove others (filters, segments, date range)?
Once we understand those details, we can look at options like a “Remove from campaign” action that leaves the video intact, or a bulk “Clear pending recipients” tool that only affects campaign membership and not the underlying video asset.
