I would like to have the ability to download transcripts of videos. This feature would be beneficial for accessibility purposes and for those who need to review the content in text form. Having a downloadable transcript would make it easier to share and reference specific parts of the video.

Thanks for sharing this, Joel — totally hear you on how a downloadable transcript would help for accessibility and for referencing/sharing. To make sure we’re designing the right thing, can I ask a couple quick questions: in what scenarios are you most looking to use the transcript (sharing with others, internal review/notes, accessibility/compliance, SEO/content repurposing)? Would you expect this to work for every video, or only for videos that already have captions/transcripts available? And for it to feel “done” on your end, is downloading the full transcript enough, or do you also need a way to share/reference specific moments (e.g., timestamps/sections)?
