Limit Dynamic Video Messages per Seat

Bradley Jekich
I would like to have the ability to limit the number of Dynamic Video Messages (DVMs) that each seat can record. This feature would help manage resources and ensure that team members do not exceed their allocated usage. Implementing this feature would be a deciding factor for me to upgrade my plan, as it would provide better control over team activities.

Hi Bradley Jekich, thanks for the request. Limiting Dynamic Video Messages per seat makes sense for managing team usage and keeping things predictable.
To make sure we scope this correctly, can you share a bit more about what you need?
1) What should the limit be based on?
- Number of DVMs recorded per seat per month
- Total DVMs active at any time
- Total minutes recorded
- Something else
2) How should the limit behave when someone hits it?
- Block new DVM recordings
- Allow recording but prevent sending or publishing
- Allow with an admin approval or request flow
- Auto upgrade or notify billing owner
3) Do you need different limits by role or group?
- Same limit for all seats
- Different limits for admins vs members
- Limits by team, department, or workspace
4) Where should admins manage and monitor this?
- Admin settings to set per seat limits
- Usage dashboard showing DVM count per user
- Alerts (email or in app) at thresholds like 80 percent and 100 percent
5) How should existing DVMs be handled if you lower the limit?
- No change, only affects new recordings
- Require archiving or deleting to get back under the cap
If you can share your ideal limit type and what you want to happen at the limit, we can better assess the right approach and what plan level it should map to.
