LinkedIn Profile as Scrolling Video Background

Hi Nick, thanks for the request. To make sure we scope this correctly, can you share a bit more about what you’re trying to achieve and where the error is happening?
1) How are you adding the LinkedIn profile today?
- Are you pasting a LinkedIn URL into a “website as background” or “scrolling webpage” type input?
- Or are you trying to upload a screen recording of the profile?
2) What exact LinkedIn URL are you using?
- Public profile URL (linkedin.com/in/…)
- Company page
- Sales Navigator link
- A link that requires being logged in
3) What error are you seeing?
- The exact error message text
- A screenshot or screen recording would help
- Does it happen for every LinkedIn profile or only certain ones?
4) Where is this being rendered?
- In the Sendspark editor/preview
- In the final shared video page
- In an embed (Gmail, website, CRM, etc.)
5) Expected behavior
- Should it auto scroll top to bottom during the video?
- Do you want it to loop, and at what speed/duration?
- Should it include animations like hover states, or just a clean scroll capture?
One note to confirm: LinkedIn often blocks automated page rendering and scraping, especially when login is required, which can cause errors when trying to load the page as a live background. Depending on your answers above, the best path may be supporting a reliable workflow like capturing the profile as a recording or image sequence, or using a permitted public version of the page.
If you can send the URL type you’re using and the exact error message, we can advise on the most reliable approach and what we could support as a product improvement.
