Set default video speed

Hi Jason, thanks for the suggestion. Setting a default recording and playback speed (for example 1.2x) makes sense as a way to keep videos tighter and more consistent.
To make sure we scope this correctly, can you share a bit more detail on how you’d want it to work?
1) Where should the default apply?
- Recording speed while you’re filming
- Playback speed for viewers
- Both
2) Should it be a global setting for your whole account, or configurable per user, per workspace, or per video?
3) When you say “delivery speed,” do you mean:
- The default playback speed in the Sendspark player
- The speed when the video is embedded on your site
- The speed when shared via a link in email or other channels
4) Should viewers still be able to change speed, or should the default be enforced?
5) Any constraints we should consider?
- Do you want audio pitch preserved (so it still sounds natural) at 1.2x
- Do you want captions to stay perfectly in sync at the adjusted speed
If you can also share your typical target length and what speed you’d most often set (1.1x, 1.2x, 1.5x), that will help us evaluate the best default options.
