Support for more than 3 variables in Dynamic Videos

Hi Lesley, thanks for sharing this. To make sure we scope this correctly, can you tell us a bit more about how you are using Dynamic Videos and what you need the additional variables for?
A few quick questions that will help us evaluate expanding beyond the current 3 variable limit:
1) Which variables do you need (for example: first name, company, plan type, renewal date, rep name, custom offer, etc.) and are they all text, or do you need other types like numbers, dates, URLs, or images?
2) Are these variables used as on screen text overlays, spoken audio, captions, or in multiple places throughout the video?
3) Roughly how many total variable placements are in a single video (for example: 10 unique variables used once each, or 10 variables repeated across 30 placements)?
4) What system are you sending variables from (CRM, marketing automation, CSV upload, API), and what does your payload or data structure look like today?
5) Do you need a hard requirement of 10 variables, or is there a minimum number that would unblock your project (for example: 5, 8, 10, 15)?
6) Are there any variables that are optional or conditional (only show if present), or do all variables always exist for every recipient?
If you can share an example list of the variables you want and a sample record (with fake data is fine), we can better assess the right limit and any UX or performance considerations for your workflow.

Hi Abe Dearmer ,
Thanks for reaching out! To be honest, I didn't realize my message to Dan had been posted here, but I'm happy to provide some context for the team! We are still in the testing phase, so we're exploring exactly how far we can push this.
Here is some context:
Variables & Usage: We mainly need flexibility for video scripts. It doesn't have to be a fixed 10, but having the overhead to use 4 to 8 variables (like names, specific countries, durations/times, or specific product mentions) would be ideal. All of these would be in text form.
Placements: We wouldd likely use these as spoken audio and potentially as on-screen captions/overlays if we explore that feature further. Regarding your question on repeated variables: if we use "First Name" in three different places in the script, we hope that, it only counts as one unique variable!
Data Source: For now, we are thinking to use CSV uploads to keep it simple while we pilot the Growth plan.
The Goal: We aren't locked into a hard requirement of 10 yet; we just found the limit of 3 a bit restrictive for personalized scripts and hoping we can add more if needed.
Just wanted to let you know that we are about to purchase the Growth Plan to officially start our pilot for a month to test. If we run into any snags or have more specific feedback once we’re hands-on, I’ll be sure to reach out to you or Dan. Thanks Abe!
